The Role of the Commission on Ministry
The Commission on Ministry (COM) assists the Bishop in selecting persons for ordinations and in examining and guiding them in their training. The COM is responsible for designing and implementing all three of our discernment programs, for recommending aspirants for postulancy and for notifying the Standing Committee that all the requirements for Ordination have been satisfied. With Postulancy, the aspirant begins a period of intensified formation and is assure support, care and individual attention.
