Diocese of Atlanta - Upgraded Website

Beginning Friday, November 2, 2007, the Digital Faith Community Diocese of Atlanta web site has been upgraded.

 

Most likely your parish/group website is now a replica of the new diocesan site. In addition to what you now see, you also have 6 other choices of themes to chose from, or we can work together on customizing you site. (There might be a small charge for this service, depending on the complexity of the design).

 

Here are some changes you will find on the new website Content Management:

You can now create your own pages. You have the additional opportunity to design individual look and feel by page. You can embed calendars and slide shows into your web pages, as well as being able to drag images from your image library onto the web page.

 

You can now store documents and other files, including pdf's, audio, video files, etc. It is easy to create links to the documents in your document library to your web page.

 

Also included is an Event Registration section, that allows you to register folks online for an event  as well as an optional tool of collecting funds on line for that event.

 

Anyways, I would be glad to hear from you when ready to get the design completed on your website. The best way to contact me is by e-mail. Based on my experience, it is easier for me to respond to e-mails, even if I am on the phone for a critical need.

 

I know there maybe a little frustration at the begining of this changeover, but I will help you work through that with the goal being a much beter website, evengelical and communication tool
