How can twenty-first century Christians engage the world as Jesus did? What does it look like to be the Church in the world? Who are we as the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement? Where is it the Church should go and how and with and to whom? And why?
Bishop Robert C. Wright and Missioner Donna S. Mote address these and other questions for the Church going into the world in The Go Guide, an excavation and examination of ten principles for innovations in ministry drawn from the Gospel of Luke Chapter 10.
This is the curriculum for missional activity in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta as we challenge ourselves and the world to love like Jesus as we worship joyfully, serve compassionately, and grow spiritually.
The Go Guide is portable, accessible, and relates principles that are transferable among a variety of ministry contexts. It’s suitable for Advent, Epiphany, Lenten, or other seasonal studies; Christian education classes for all ages; one-day or two-day retreats; and any number of other study and learning opportunities.
If you would like to invite Bishop Rob and Missioner Donna to engage with you and the principles for innovations offered in The Go Guide, please contact Donna+ at firstname.lastname@example.org.
