Book Study on Rowan Williams’ “Being Christian: Baptism, Bible, Eucharist, Prayer”
September 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 23, 2020
Wednesdays, 7 PM via Zoom | September 2, 9, 16, 23
The disruptions of this year have given us a chance for renewed thought on matters of the heart and the foundation of our faith. In this simple but engaging book, former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams explores four essential components of the Christian life. Join this book study led by Rev. Dr. Angela Shepherd, rector of St. Bartholomew’s, as we discuss the meaning and practice of baptism, the Bible, the Eucharist, and prayer. This class will enable you to dig deeper and apply Williams’ insights to your own life. The book (96 pages) contains study questions and is available from libraries and online.
The class is open to all. A Zoom link will be emailed on the morning of September 2. Please add yourself to the St. Bart’s email list by sending a note to email@example.com. Please RSVP by September 1.
The book is available through several metro Atlanta public libraries; and is also available for order through bookstores and online.
