Pastoral Identity: Community of Hope International Southeast Regional Conference
May 9 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
All are invited to the Community of Hope International Southeast Regional Conference. We are looking forward to spending the day with current members and anyone interested in learning what Community of Hope is all about. Please join us as we explore our pastoral identities in a variety of ways.
Community of Hope is traditionally known as a pastoral care ministry, but it is one that certainly blurs the lines between formation, pastoral care, and outreach. This is a ministry that can provide a framework of support through intentional community, spiritual formation, and practical training for all ministries inside and outside the church walls.
The keynote address, “Empowering the Laity,” will be delivered by the Rev. Barbara Pendergrast, chaplain at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The breakout sessions will be “What is Community of Hope?” delivered by the Very Rev. Licia Affer and “The Trinitarian Nature of Community of Hope” by the Rev. Grady “Buddy” Crawford.
The registration deadline is April 30. The cost is $30, including lunch. To register, please visit here.
