Elaine Pagels and Mel Konner: This I Now Know; In This I Now Hope
March 6 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us March 6 and 7 as Princeton’s Elaine Pagels and Emory’s Melvin Konner reflect on their life’s work– sharing what they have learned, what they now believe, and how that informs their hopes.
Pagels is a historian of religion, whose work causes us to rethink the early Christian church, including the role of women. Konner is a biological anthropologist and medical doctor who applies science to human nature, exploring the links between biology and behavior, medicine and society, nature, and culture. Both have fascinating personal stories that impact their professional studies.
