St. Anne’s Annual Summer Book Discussion Group Returns

May 21, 2020

St. Anne’s popular Summer Book Discussion Group returns May 31!  Sunday mornings, 9:00 a.m. via Zoom. We’ll discuss two books about getting to know the Bible, “a living, breathing, captivating, and confounding book that is able to equip us to join God’s loving and redemptive work in the world,” according to The Cathedral Book Store’s recommendation.

First, we’ll be reading Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible by Rachel Held Evans and then Reading the Bible Again for the First Time by Marcus Borg.

Both will provide great material to read, digest, and talk about as we familiarize ourselves with the Bible’s rich narratives.

Be sure to register in time to receive the ID and password before the first discussion if you wish to join.

Email the Rev. Tim Meyers at tmeyers@saintannes.com for the Zoom ID and password. For all the details, go to St. Anne’s website.
